The "View" menu
This menu offers various options for the way to the notes are presented. The appropriate options are checked in the menu.
Newest first: choose this to reverse the order in which the notes are shown from the order in which the notes are added, and back again. New notes are visually inserted at the appropriate location.
Select all: choose this to show all texts in the collection. Contrary to the other types of selection, it makes no sense to choose this option when it's already checked.
Select by tag: choose this to show only texts that have a selected keyword/tag associated. When you choose this option, a dialog pops up in which you can choose a keyword:
if you choose this option when this type of selection is already in effect, the dialog shows the keyword the current selection is based upon.
Select by text: choose this to show only texts that contain a certain word or phrase. When you choose this option, a dialog pops up in which you can enter some text:
